Legacy Trees is a family-owned business based in Southern Alberta founded by Bart Aleman. In addition to moving existing trees, we also specialize in tree planting, tree supply and tree purchasing.

Our team works efficiently to meet your needs with minimal stress to you or your property. We do this by using specialized equipment to lift trees up and into place without disturbing the soil around them or damaging nearby structures. Our equipment features a 90-inch truck-mounted tree spade that allows us to move any tree from a 3-inch calliper to a 10-inch calliper. Before we move the tree, we use a Dutchman tree tyer to wrap the branches with twine to prevent damage to the branches while moving the tree.

Our process is simple: contact us, and we will assess to determine your needs and what trees will grow best in your area. We can then move existing trees around your yard or bring in trees sourced from a nursery and plant them in your yard. Afterwards, we work with a certified arborist to determine the best aftercare procedures to ensure the success of your investment.
